Is it really meant to be used as a toothpick?

Yes — that's the original use case. Grade 5 titanium is biocompatible and the polished finish is easy to sanitize. Many customers use the same TiPick for years.

What else can I do with it?

Package opening, SIM card eject, cleaning charging ports and small crevices, slivers, jewelry adjustments, fine detail work. Sanitize appropriately between dental and non-dental uses.

Can I clean it?

Yes. Titanium is corrosion-proof — soap and water works fine. For dental hygiene, you can also use alcohol or hydrogen peroxide. Avoid bleach.

The TiPick uses a friction-fit O-ring closure. Pull to open, twist closed. The 4th-gen tightened the O-ring fit for a more secure carry.
